Schools in Platilanta teach basically the same subjects as here on Earth, but focus more on knowledge in nature, like farming, survival, knowledge of animals, etc.
Children start going to school at age six, and stay there for six more years, until they’re twelve. When they’re twelve, they choose the job they want to do as an adult, and start specialty training for that job.
If an adult ever wants to get a new job, they can go back to school and learn what is required for them to do that job. They will not have to relearn subjects they already learned, but will just have a small review to make sure that they haven’t forgotten everything. If they have, they will just have to relearn that specific thing.
